We are only able to take a limited amount of vitamin C from our daily diet, and this is especially true for those on a a busy schedule. Overdose

Rarely do people get a vitamin C overdose, but it still occurs occasionally. The mildest side effect of an overdose is a case of bad digestion that manifests itself through diarrhea. Others may also experience some body aches, vomiting and dizziness.

It is important to see your doctor if you are taking other supplements and medication or if you have a serious medical condition. In some of these cases, vitamin C may result in negative reactions. Some individuals for example may be at risk of rare iron toxicity because vitamin C increases the absorption rates of iron.
