What are the aspects of a theme park that would make you want to attend it? Affordability would be the first aspect on your list, no doubt. Then there would be the concept of lots of rides. Shows would be a nice toss in on the equation. Though you don't often find it, a water park within the theme park would definitely add to the allure. You would have to have great service. The Rides
First, there are the many wonderful and exciting rides. There are rides for adults and children of all ages, the younger ones having specialty rides created just for them. Among the many high-speed fun rides to be found here, one of the absolute favorites is the Son of the Beast roller coaster. This particular ride is the world's fastest and largest real wooden roller coaster in the entire world. Then there is the predecessor of The Son of the Beast, The Beast. This ride is the longest wooden roller coaster in existence. You get more miles for your money on this one.
The Kids
Then, for the younger children, there is the Nickelodeon Universe section of Kings Island. This is a theme park in itself, only oriented more towards the little kids in the family. Here you will find almost twenty rides guaranteed to be safe and fun for your little one. There is the Blue's Skidoo ride, the concept taken from the famed children's show, "Blues Clues." On this ride the kids will ride through the air harnessed into the back of two of the characters from the show.
The Water
For those who enjoy a good water park, Kings Island proudly offers the Boomerang Bay section of the park. Within this section you will find lots of wet and wild slides and rides suitable for kids of all ages as well as the adults. There is the Coolangatta Racer, a fifty plus foot racing slide where you can race up to four family members at a time to see who is the fasted water racer in the group. Then there is the Awesome Aussie Twister where you shoot down a tube of water at high speeds, twisting and twirling all the way.
Of course, there are the other popular attractions of the park, such as the many shows, food stands and hundreds of other rides and games for every member of your family group.
