There is something very romantic about the famed Mississippi River. Perhaps it is the reputation that has gradually built up about it throughout American history. It was first the method of travel by Native American Indians in the early years. Then, with the discovery of the new world, the settlers came and such renowned explorers as Lewis and Clark ventured up and down it. Eventually it became a major trading point for early Americans. Then, along came a man named Mark Twain. Twain was the one who truly immortalized this great river through the many tales in his books, particularly those of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.

Today, along the Ohio region, the Mississippi still flows and still retains that same sense of romance and allure that it has so rightfully earned. Now, it is considered one of the top vacation attractions of the major city of Cincinnati. It is considered a national landmark due to the fact that it is one of the last of its kind. The shows here are very diverse, as the city uses it as a platform for the local entertainers to break into their various careers.
