Online Dating - Call Her a Dork and Get a Date!

One of the greatest ways to get a date is by meeting a woman online. It is becoming more and more popular, and less taboo as time goes on. Unfortunately, most guys do not know how to write a profile that really SAYS something to her - other than I am like all the other schmucks on this page.
So just for a minute - imagine you are some super sexy babe who has put her profile up on the Internet in hopes of finding just ONE guy who is interesting, fun and CHALLENGING. Now imagine you are this hottie - opening her email to find forty responses to your profile.
The first one she reads says, "Hi! I am a SWM age 30 looking for a SWF between the ages of 22 and 29 for a possible LTR who likes hiking, long walks and dogs." DELETE! BORING! The next one, "Hey babe - wanna get together for some "no strings attached" fun? I promise you the night of your life!" To the trash can. And so on and so forth.
Ok - do you get the point here? After reading all these emails, they ALL start to sound the same - and FAST. She may as well put a blindfold on and play "Pin my tail on the loser." You have got to GRAB and GO here. Grab her attention, and then GO offline.
So how exactly do you get her attention? Humor is a fantastic way to get a woman's attention. Say something to her in your first email that would make her smack you stupid if she was standing beside you. Ask her for her REAL photo because you know her profile picture was photo-shopped. Ask her if she is one of those crazy women who puts their dog in their purse. Something original!
AND - another great tip for meeting women online - get different email accounts for each site that you use. Chances are - SHE is on more than one as well, so you don't want to look like you are fishing for women here. But certainly DO get into more than one online dating site.
Additionally, when you are responding to her - be sure to respond to something that she actually SAID in her profile. Don't send out form letters. She will know whether or not you actually READ it, so take the time to do that.
Then - be sure to keep current. There are millions of people online looking to meet someone. You have to be one of the first in line or she will get taken. Then, once you have her interest, take it OFF the Internet ASAP. You need to get her into the real world. Take her out for lunch or a matinee, whatever it takes to get her there in person.
One more key piece of dating advice - when you arrange for your first meeting - she is GOING to be nervous. Her friends are telling her "You are meeting someone you met ONLINE?" So ease her fears. Meet for coffee at Starbucks in the middle of the day or for lunch somewhere. That will be much more "secure" feeling to her than a dinner date or a club.
So remember - online dating services are a GREAT place to meet women, and meeting women online can be a blast if you know how to do it right. So fire up your fingers and get to work. Remember - you CAN get the girl!
