The Traders Village, a Bargain Hunters Dream

At least one member of every family has a passion for shopping when on the vacation getaway. The only problem with this is that the average vacationing individual does not have a whole lot of money to waste after saving up all year long to just be able to afford the trip, hotel accommodations, and the various attractions that they have come so far to experience. Money tends to be tight on an average vacation trip, resulting in the avid shopper having to merely go window shopping, looking at all the stuff that they would like to have but cannot afford. For some, this would even ruing the entire vacation experience.

In Houston Texas, however, there are two particular aspects of the city that make it the ideal vacation getaway for the shopping fanatic. One is the presence of the Traders Village, and the other is the price on the items found within. The Traders Village is, bar none, likely the world?s most extensive shopping experience. It is a massive area in the city cordoned off for many retailing opportunities. There is the Market area, the Festival area, and the RV Park. Picture miles and miles of flea markets vendors, yard sales, and fine product distributors all in one area, and what you have is the Traders Village.

The Traders Village is open every Saturday and Sunday from daylight to dark and offers the shoppers a dream experience. Nevertheless, there is a bit of something here for everyone in the family, even those who are not so keen on the concept of shopping. There are rides for small children, shaded rest areas, food vendors and dining areas, and tons more.

Do not assume that this is a spot for only second hand items to be purchased. Many of the local businesses such as the clothing outlets, shoe stores, sporting good stores, craft shops, Jewelry stores, gift shops and flower shops make it a point to reserve a stand every single weekend. There are tons of stands for children also! You can buy cotton candy, balloons, toys, and just about anything else that will put a smile on your child?s face.

You can spend an entire day here and never see the entire market area. You do not have to leave for anything. There are plenty of food providers, as restaurants from all over the city come here to promote their fine culinary cuisine as well as that of the fast food restaurants. There are bathrooms located every little ways throughout the market area, so this is not an issue either.

If you time it right, there are often many awesome special events held at the Houston Traders Village. It is not uncommon to wander into an outdoor concept with local as well as national celebrities, a festival regarding one concept or another, or even the occasional carnival. Regardless, the ones that will get the most out of this wonderfully huge attraction are the shoppers. This year, you truly can shop until you drop at the Houston Traders Village!
