Not everyone needs to take medicine to get well.

The problems can be deeper than most think. Both the doctor and patient need to work closely to root out the problem.

It is good for the patient to ask questions and understand what the anxiety medication does. Also ask about any possible anxiety medicine side effects.

Make sure that you are aware if there are any foods or drinks that a person should stop eating or drinking when taking the prescribed medication.

Ask and understand about changes to the medicine and how it impact you.

If the doctor says that a person should take the medicine for a prolong period, then it makes sense to next ask for how long.

For some, this is forever and for other it is 3 months.

One question to ask is what if the person stop taking the medicine. Is there any impact?

There are many other questions that a person can ask and the above are just a few to name.

Write those questions down and bring it with to the doctor the next time.
