How To Get Ready For The CPA Exam

The CPA exam is an exam accountants must take if they wish to be certified as a public accountant. Although not required to work as an accountant, many companies want their accountants to be certified.

The CPA exam has four sections all of which must be completed in 18 months. You have four windows of opportunities to complete the sections within the 18 months.

The four sections from the CPA exam will be on Auditing, financial reporting, regulations, and business environment. You will also need to have a good understanding of how to use word processors and spreadsheets.

Since the CPA exam covers much material, it would be wise to study for it. Most people spend a few months studying in preparation for the exam.

You can buy all types of CPA exam review materials to help you. Some of the big companies that help you prepare for the CPA exam are Kaplan, Becker, and Wiley.

The CPA exam materials can be different depending on the company that sells it. Some companies offer books, CDs, online courses, or a combination of all of those. Some may even offer live classes.

Finding the right CPA exam review material to buy is very important. You want to have study materials that mirror the CPA exam with similar questions.
