You are said to be a citizen of a particular community if you are simply an inhabitant of that community. Citizenship brings itself a number of rights and responsibilities. One of your duties is to always work for the betterment of your community. You just have to get registered. The next step would be to give a simple civic examination; it is a sort of interview. You need to research well regarding the state and the country.

It is very important to do enough study before landing up for the interview. So, a few sample interview questions are given below to prepare you well for the interview:

1. What do you mean by the ultimate law of land? Nothing but a constitution is the ultimate law of land.

2. Why is a constitution formed in a country? The main function of a constitution is to make a country run smooth. It also ensures that the rights of the Americans are preserved in the best possible way.

5. How many number of senators are there in the Congress and what are the two parts of the U.S. congress? The Senate and The House of Representatives are the two of the most important parts. The congress comprises one hundred senators.

6. Who stands on behalf of the state in the Senate? A U.S. Senator stands for the people of a specific state.

7. Tell me about two cabinet level posts in this state? Secretary of Commerce Defense is the two cabinet level positions in the United States.

8. Mention the branch of government that explains the laws and regulations? The judicial branch is responsible for all such rules and regulations.

9. Mention the names of the two main political parties? Republican and Democratic are the two most powerful political parties.
