When you are looking at how you are going to be able to reduce bruising so frequently, it is important to know why you bruise and how the changes in your body are going to affect you. In most cases, you will notice that bruising is something that will become more of an issue as you get older. It is not just because you are noticing more bruises; they really are occurring more often.

The bruising that you are now seeing so often is a condition that can affect a large variety of people after they reach a certain age, and even though bruising easily might be caused by serious medical condition, there is an excellent chance that the reasons for your easy bruising are based on your skin's ability to react to changes as you grow older. For most people, the skin's loss of collagen due to aging causes it to be less resilient and show less toughness compared to how it used to be when you were younger. There are also some other factors that affect the skin that will decrease the skin's ability to protect you.

Keep in mind that your skin's primary purpose is to provide protection for your body. Not only does your skin help provide a cushion for your body against injury, it also provides a layer of protection for you against disease. On top of your skins loss of collagen, your skin may have become thinner because of your spending a lifetime exposed to the sun. Not only has your skin gotten thinner, but just beneath the skin tiny blood vessels called capillaries may have gotten thinner walls because of reduced blood pressure brought about by aging.

Think about all the times that your body simply bumps into things. If you work around a lot of counters, you might lightly bump your hip as you go around a corner or you might just simply catch the door on your forearm. Even contact like this, which is minor and should not hurt you, can bring about bruising.

Do not forget that your body can't heal itself as quickly as it did when you were younger. Being able to recover from illnesses and injuries quickly wasn't even given a second thought when you were younger? As your metabolism has slowed down, so has your ability to heal yourself rapidly.

When you combine the fact that your skin and capillary walls are thinner with the fact that you are no longer capable of healing yourself as quickly as you were once were, you are likely going to see an increase in bruising across the board.

Now that you are aware of the two major common causes of bruising easily, and what you may be facing, it's a good time to consider how these conditions will affect you, and what steps you should take to help offset this condition. You should certainly consider adding a well researched daily supplement program like Bruises Be Banned to help you overcome your easy bruising and give you the means to reduce bruising or prevent bruising altogether.
