In cryotherapy; liquid nitrogen of carbon dioxide is applied on the infected area for a few seconds enough to freeze it. Once frozen, the wart can be removed.

The above mentioned cryosurgery is also one of the few methods where scarring is not the norm. In other surgical based genital warts cure methods scarring and in some cases disfigurement of the affected area is a given, but not so with the cryosurgery method of genital warts cure.

The cure to HPV may not be available to us yet. Nevertheless, we can still get rid of the potential cancerous cells from genital HPV warts. Thank goodness for that!
