A bra is a very unique garment in the fact that it is (usually) hidden but contributes largely to a woman's looks. Unlike other pieces of clothing, a bra must first and foremost fulfil its functional obligations and give necessary support to a woman's chest. But obviously, there are much more to it than just that. Choosing a bra can prove to be an art: a comfortable bra? A nice-looking one? Push-ups? One with a titanium structure? The options are a lot and make the purchase of this sometimes high-tech garment.
Yet for all the various factors that will influence your choice, one fact remains: choosing a comfortable bra is the most vital thing. Of course you do not want to end up with a bulky, ill-colored, monster of a brassiere that will destroy your overall appearance. But if you take a second to look at it, you will find that there are many great reasons to choose comfortable bras over fancier ones.
Once you put on your bra in the morning all ready for work, you have wear it for the entire day until you come home. Putting on an uncomfortable bra means you probably get into situations that need you to constantly adjust it or feeling itchy all over. Now that definitely affects your mood greatly. In contrast, a comfortable bra means one thing less to worry about in your busy life.
Choosing a comfortable bra simply means that it (the bra) has to fit you well and fulfil its purpose of supporting your breasts. The thought of beauty should be put secondary. Ask yourself this simple question - why would you want to be wearing an uncomfortable bra? If wearing it in the fitting room gives you pain or discomfort, it likely tells you that either the size is wrong or the bra is simply not suitable for you.
As long as the level of pain or discomfort is within a reasonable threshold, you may be prepared to endure them for the sake of aesthetics, for the sake of looking good. You may have overlooked a crucial point. If the bra is the repeated source of pain or discomfort, it is not likely you can look your best. In fact, an uncomfortable bra will leave you annoyed and all tensed up.
A bra is a necessary clothing that is often used for aesthetic purposes. The industry has improved tremendously over the years and it is now not impossible to compromise on either looks or comfort. Choosing a comfortable bra doesn't mean you will be missing out on the desired effect it will have on your looks. Comfortable bras can be fanciful as well, and vice versa.
