There is nothing that will cause havoc to the family budget like the news that a new baby is on the way. What adds to the chaos is the fact that a lot of first time parents rush out to the stores and buy everything that they see. One of the things that they tend to overpay on is baby clothing as they don't wait or even bother to look for a baby clothes sale.
Even though your newborn can just about fit into your hand, they are going to go through some clothing in the early going. You are going to be surprised at how quickly they grow and how fast the outfit that you loved on them last week no longer fits.
