Many people ask why do they need to spend thousands of dollars and years of their lifetime to go through college? Many school students today are either dropping out of high school or are just not attending college because they don't know the advantages. A college degree has been proved to pay much more than those without.
It's always been realized that a college graduate would make much higher money than not having a college degree but new research has shown that college degree holders and their families are normally more jolly and healthier than those with simply a school diploma.
A college graduate could gain about 2x as much a year than a school graduate. Across an average working life, the excess earnings would sum up to 1,000,000 dollars. Someone with a higher degree can make triple the money and a doctorate will bring in as much as four times the earnings as a high school diploma. Today surveys are showing a great list of standard of life benefits that accumulate for college graduates versus their high school-only counterparts.
That list covers longer life spans, better access to Medicare, and better dieting and health practices. The list includes elusive matters which make people happier. Stuff like larger Internet access, bigger attendance at live performances, greater collusion in leisure and imaginative activities and more book purchases.
What neighbor would you favor to have living next to you, a high school graduate or someone with a school degree? Knowledge is indeed power and college graduates usually help the society more. It seems that individuals who have more knowledge do less wrong to their society and contribute value a great amount more. One only need to look at societies where education was banned to see the difference in result.
College graduates are also primary role models for the younger generations today as well. A college education also makes better electors too. College alumni have less reliance on executive help, lower levels of illegal activity and imprisonment, better community service and leadership, and doing more volunteer work.
