With the introduction of the Cricut cutting machine paper crafting was revolutionized. The original and the Create can be carried around the house or to crafting parties and none need a computer to operate. There is a great variety of letters, shapes and phrasing you can choose from to cut, just let your imagination go.

All paper crafters love this machine but scrapbookers in particular find it a great tool to use. Customers have a lot of good things to say about them and in general it is obvious that they view the cricut as a cut above the rest of the competition.

The first machine is the Personal cutter and can cut images an inch in size up to five and a half inches. The machine takes thin papers as well as thick using a pressure dial to adjust to whichever you choose. Cartridges are varied and in large numbers letter or shape in themes.

The next machine released was the Expression which at twenty four inches is much larger. Losing the portability but gaining features and functions it is great for home use, business or schools. Choose from two cutting mats, 12 by 12 inches or 12 by 24 inches and cut small at a quarter of an inch to big at twenty three and a half inches. Change the settings to a different language or measurement and enjoy the LCD screen that allows you to know what the next cut is.

The third and final Cricut is the Create which is a nice mixture of the two previous machines. It is portable as it is smaller than the Expression but it still has some of the Expression's extra features like Auto Fill, Center point, Flip, Portrait, Fit to Page. It has the LCD screen too and the general look of the machine has been updated. It cuts from a quarter of an inch to eleven and a half inches on a 12 x 6 inch mat. The cartridges are not machine specific, so whichever one you opt for the huge library of cartridges available can be used. When the blade and mat eventually need replacing these are available to buy, as well as other paper crafting tools to aid your work and a tote bag for holding the machine when it is put away. Whichever machine you buy it will greatly enhance your crafting time.
