The two modes available are single and multiplayer. Some features you will see in the Brutal Legend may not even be what you have expected. This video game focuses on the characters and the story revolving around Eddie Riggs, who dedicated his life to metal music. He dreamt of a world where metal music owns the reigning throne and he soon found himself in such an era. In this kingdom, the gods and titans who brought metal music to the land are worshipped through statues and shrines.
A heavy dose of irony can be noticed in the set-up. Sarcasm and humor can be observed in the routine of Riggs. Riggs remains endearing and humble despite being looked up to as the leader and the hero. Aside from Riggs, you will also meet other interesting and memorable characters such as the Keeper of the Metal, Ozzy Osbourne, and the Killmaster, Lemmy.

An open-world approach is implemented in its structure, giving you the possibility to customize how you want your pace to progress. There is also an interesting combination of action and different mechanics while breaking down the different mission types. Later stages of this video game will also require other skills from Riggs.
