I'm going to share with you why 90% of people fail in this industry and how you can be part of the 10% that make it and achieve financial success by building a list that you can sell to.
People tend to fail because they are new to Internet Marketing and have only learned the Internet Marketing basic techniques, not how to present themselves and how to sell. This leads to them using in your face tactics which put people off from buying from them as they come across as a spammer.
By only going on about your product and how good it is you will come across as a desperate salesman. This makes you look unprofessional and it will put people off from wanting to hear any more from you. You build a list by giving people a reason to hear more from yourself; this is not done by shouting about how good your product is.
So you're probably now wandering how do you go from desperate Dan...to having prospects call you up wanting to join your business or buy your product...well here you go:
First of all forget the idea of chasing people or targeting people because you need their money; even if you are broke do not let it show!
This brings me to my second point; come across as a leader in your market! You do this by giving valuable information about your market through articles, blogs, videos, etc. Even if you have been in your business for a week you will still know a lot more that a prospect who knows nothing but the opportunity your home business can provide. It is branding yourself!
By teaching people and giving valuable information about your market you gain status among people that are considering joining your market (prospects). If you do a video on Seach Engine Optimization anyone considering joining an Internet Marketing business will look up to you as if you've done a video on the subject then you must know your stuff.
By branding yourself rather than your product people will want to hear more from you and will be willing to provide you their details (email address etc.) in order to find out more about yourself. This is exactly how list building works. It might seem easy as pie and it is, however so many Internet Marketers do not do this, instead they use sell, sell, sell tactics that do not attract anyone!
Why? Well it's human nature for everybody who isn't a leader to want to follow one to gain status and for support. Because I joined my mentor's team I became associated with him and learned more and grew in the industry. I have now become a leader in Internet marketing and have a vast amount of knowledge in the subject, without a mentor it would have taken a LOT longer to accomplish this.
Give people valuable information, deliver it with confidence, give yourself value and people will really want to hear more from you! They will join your list and this is how you become a success online, this is tip that so many supposed mentors do not share! I hope now knowing this that you action it and become a leader!
