Why Theme Parks Are So Popular In The UK

The UK has numerous theme parks, most of which have thrill rides that are on par with those anywhere else in the world. So why are theme parks so popular in the UK? There are several reasons.

The main reason that theme parks are so popular in the UK is that Brits are fun people. While much of the world thinks of Brits as dutiful, stiff upper lip people, when it's time to cut loose, they're always up for an adventure. Anyone who has been in the company of a group of people from the UK who are visiting Las Vegas, for example, can attest to the great spirit of adventure and trying something new that so many Brits have.

Another reason there are so many theme parks in the UK is that the British are very sociable people. It's much the same reason that bingo halls are so popular in the UK: being around people having a good time is contagious, and sometimes it's terrific fun to do something active on an outing rather than simply going to the cinema or out for dinner.

British people in their professions are very conscientious, dedicated, and thoroughly professional. Theme parks provide the perfect escape because they're usually within easy driving distance, they're physically walled off from the rest of the world, and they present new little worlds inside themselves that are dedicated to having a good time. Because the british do their work with such dedication, they're doubly ready for some fun when it is time for a family holiday.

The British by and large are very loving parents, and want to give their children the memory of a great outing or family holiday. Theme parks are perfect for taking children, even if a family has children with significant age differences. The teens can have a great time on the latest thrill ride, young school age children can participate in some of the less "thrilling" rides, and even toddlers and preschoolers can find places in an amusement park set aside just for them. Everyone can find something they like.
