Posting free ads sounds like an impossible thing until the growing use of Internet. In the past, business owners paid a lot for advertising on TV, radio, and local newspaper until later there were Yellow Pages and free classified ads. But the last two also comes with some disadvantages such as complicated applying process and limited Audience. Yellow pages are distributed to households and companies, yes, but they are thick and inefficient for use. Your customer targets can spend hours to find what they need and write down the contact information.

The information is also not that up-to-date. You may spend months to manage for the printing of your business on Yellow Pages, but the return is not that promising. With free classified ads, there is either limited distribution or long waiting time for your turn. Many business owners are interested in classified ads and the numbers have caused each to wait for some time until finally it their business's turn to be published. Yet, they are distributed limitedly.

Now, with the rapid use and growing competition of Internet advertising, business owners have much more options to post free ads. The competition has "forced" creative business ideas that turn out in free advertising services. You can now post free ads on forums, online classified ad sites, blogs or websites, social networking sites, online groups, and many others. Not only they are free, but you also get exposed to unlimited potential Audiences. In forums, you can start a thread about your business and put the business links and information in your signature.

Many forums have trade, buy, and sell categories for members to conduct business or trade. This way you can spread the information and post free "ads" to ever viewer and member of the forum. You can also post free ads at classified sites and your own blog. People can find the ads accidentally or through purposeful search per category or keyword. There are big opportunities that you can attract new buyers and maintain long-term relationship with them.

The social networking sites and other online groups are also powerful to spread ads and build relationship. You can post the ads freely on your personal pages and get people to come and read. There is virtually no cost for the advertising effort. You just spend some time to write about your product and service. The information will stay there all the time. But of course, you will need to introduce your pages and groups so that people are interested to join and find further information. Be active in the page and keep making updates on important and relevant information. Building interactive communication with Audiences is also important to maintain personal connection. There are many other options to post free ads such as doing link exchange and article submission. It is just important to prepare a solid planning for your free ad posting. Target some media to post the free ads and focus on them. Some aspects such as image, credibility, and trust will take time to build. But you can start well by spreading the information freely.
