Kos, sometimes spelled Cos, is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea. It is very close to the Turkish coast, making it the perfect destination to explore both Greek and Turkish landscapes and culture.

With a coastline of over 100km, there are plenty of beaches to explore and enjoy, as well as the warm waters of the Aegean Sea. Not quite as touristy as the larger Greek Island of Rhodes, Kos offers you the chance to explore Greek culture in a relaxed and family friendly setting.

There are a variety of tours available in and around Kos. As well as tours designed to help you learn more about the island itself, the location of Kos means that there are also many more tours and cruises that allow you explore the Aegean and neighbouring islands, as well as Turkey too.

Kos is less than an hour away from Turkey, and if you want to explore Turkey try the Full Day Tour to Bodrum. One of the islands that neighbours Kos is Kalymnos. Take a relaxing tour here onboard a cruise for firty five minutes across the beautiful Aegean Sea. You arrive at Nera beach at Kalymnos, where you will be treated to traditional Greek salad, octopus, Ouzo, and a big beach barbeque.

One of the islands that lies close to Kos is a volcanic one. You can book a tour to Nissyros which lasts nine hours and includes a tour of the volcano and its geysers and mud pools. From there you can enjoy a traditional Greek lunch, and then a trip to the fascinating monastery of Panagia Spiliani.

For an exciting evening of entertainment, try the Greek Dinner and Dancing Show package tour. Experience the best of Greek culture with a drive to Zia to watch the sun set over the beach.
