On 6th August 2010, London School of Business & Finance (LSBF) announced the opening of two regional LSBF offices in Lahore and Karachi, Pakistan. The offices will provide prospective Pakistani students with relevant information about LSBF programmes and establish business relations with corporate clients and partners in the new regions.
A demonstration of LSBF's groundbreaking InterActive online study platform was presented at the event held by LSBF at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club in Lahore to celebrate the launch. Key representatives from the public and private education sectors, including the head of
ACCA Pakistan, a CIMA team from Lahore, British Council representatives, and heads of education consultancies were present. The event was extensively covered by the media including 15 newspapers, 4 TV channels and 1 radio station.
Project Director of London School of Business & Finance - Komil Mamajanov, said:

Director of UK Trade & Investment in Pakistan and British Deputy High Commissioner for Karachi, Robert Gibson, was one of the speakers at the event. He discussed the UK's presence in Pakistan and the potential for partnership between educational establishments in Pakistan and the UK, noting that the UK is an eminent destination for undergraduate and postgraduate studies and research programmes.
Robert Gibson said:
'The UK has a long history of academic and research excellence. Around 365,000 international students are currently studying in the UK while a further three million take UK exams overseas. Britain intends to invest in educational development throughout the country. This initiative will hopefully lead to access to proper education, better job opportunities and higher living standards.'
The event concluded with LSBF's Komil Mamajanov presenting the portfolio and programmes offered by London School of Business &Finance. Discussing LSBF’s investment in Pakistan Mr Mamajanov noted:
'We're investing heavily in Pakistani education, giving out free books and offering scholarships for Pakistan's brightest and best students. It's our mission to promote quality education, exchange ideas and to work closely with Pakistani educational institutions to further improve the links between our two countries.'
