Try this easy-to-make tater tot hotdish recipe the next time
you're in the mood for tater tots.
1 pound ground beef 1 cup onion, chopped ½ cup celery, chopped 2
cans (10 ¾ oz. each) condensed cheddar cheese soup 1 (11 oz.)
can whole kernel corn with red and green peppers, drained ½ cup
picante sauce 2 teaspoons chili powder ¼ teaspoon pepper 1 (16
oz.) package frozen potato nuggets (tater tots) ½ cup shredded
taco-seasoned cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook beef, onion, celery, and garlic in 10-inch skillet over
medium heat 8 to 10 minutes; stirring occasionally; until beef
is brown; drain.
Stir soup, corn, picante sauce, chili powder, and pepper into
beef mixture. Spoon into ungreased 2 ½-quart casserole dish. Top
with potato nuggets.
Bake uncovered 40 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake an
additional 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
