The Inside Track To Looking Beautiful

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. There is absolutely nothing that will enhance your appearance more than a healthy, well balanced lifestyle.

There are a number of cosmetic procedures you can undergo, or products you can buy that will promise you glowing skin and the radiance of youth. You can spray shine on your hair, add gloss to your lips and powder a sunny bronze about your face. None of it is natural and none of it will be as effective as starting with a healthy body.

Your internal body uses your skin, hair and nails to express itself. If you're over tired, it shows in your eyes. If you're thirsty, your lips will be chapped and dry. Too much alcohol, and you'll be pale and gaunt looking. So why not use your body's natural communications to your advantage? A healthy body glows and sparkles. That radiant look you're after, it's already there waiting to exclaim itself.

In case your beauty routine has lost touch with your healthy routine, here's a quick review.

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. They are the natural detoxifier. It doesn't mean you have to eat carrots all day long. Try juices, smoothies or fresh berries in yogurt. Milk is a natural hydrator. Dairy products are also full of calcium, which is good for bones, teeth, hair and nails. It's also full of vitamins, minerals and protein. Water yourself! Maybe you've heard you should drink 6-8 glasses of water a day? Okay, it doesn't have to be straight water. Add a splash of lemon, lime or something else to spruce it up. But remember, our bodies are made up of mostly water, so keep yourself replenished. Get forty winks. Sleep, or rather, lack of it, is the biggest culprit when it comes to draining our looks. Not enough sleep shows as wrinkles and bags under the eyes. Don't go crazy on sugar. Most fruits contain natural sugars, so try to avoid adding any refined sugar to your diet.

You've probably heard all of this before. In the interest of learning something new, here's a quick tip to boost your immune system. One tablespoon of alma juice and one tablespoon of aloe vera gel will work wonders for your immunity and help you with weight loss.

Looking great goes hand in hand with feeling great. And nothing feels greater than being fit and healthy. So, when you're looking for the inside track to becoming more beautiful, all you have to do is look inside yourself.
