Boneless chicken is a great ingredient to have in the kitchen because there are hundreds of different kinds of recipes you can make. Baking is an excellent cooking method.

It can be plain, spiced, or cooked in some kind of sauce or liquid. You can also poach it in the oven, which is a nice way to add flavor as well as keeping the meat moist.

Easy Baked Chicken Recipes

A tasty and trouble free method to make a great tasting boneless chicken dish is to mix your boneless pieces with some soup, then simply bake it for one hour at 350 degrees F. Use any type of soup for this recipe. Mushroom, cheese, onion, or celery soup are all good. Make sure the meat is covered with a lid or some aluminum foil, to prevent it from drying out.

Alternatively, you can combine the chicken with orange juice, some drained, canned mandarin segments, and a splash of sherry. Bake it until it is cooked through and serve it with fluffy white rice. Recipes like these are easy to follow, and you might have most of the necessary ingredients to hand already.

If you love the natural flavor of chicken, you can rub some olive oil over your pieces, add some salt and pepper, and bake them until they are done. This is a fantastic recipe to have in your cooking repertoire. You can add some dried herbs or spices for a different flavor.

To make a tasty gravy for your baked chicken recipe, put the roasting pan on the stove and use a metal spatula to scrape up the bits, which are stuck on, stirring them into the drippings. Add some white wine or broth and pour the mixture into a small saucepan, cooking it over a high heat until it has thickened. While the gravy is cooking, keep the meat warm.

Perhaps you are a fan of Mexican food, in which case you can make a chicken enchilada recipe. Chicken enchiladas are very easy to make and you simply need to stuff some rolled up tortillas with a meat mixture, spread enchilada sauce and grated cheese over the top and bake them until they are hot and the cheese is golden brown. This is an excellent recipe for the whole family and if you use a jar of enchilada sauce instead of making it, this cuts down on the preparation time.

How to Make Juicy Baked Chicken

Poultry can dry out quickly so make sure you do not exceed the cooking time. You can test your meat by poking a knife into the thickest bit. If the juices run clear, the meat is done. Different recipes have different cooking times, depending on the size of the pieces, the other ingredients, and your oven.

Bake your meat in a shallow pan so the pieces do not touch each other. If some pieces are cooked before the rest, you can remove those pieces and keep them warm under aluminum foil until all the chicken is cooked through and totally cooked.
