It is only when you have a kids patio set in your back garden that you realize what a great addition this is; this has been my experience anyway. It actually wasn't until I saw my neighbour's patio set for his kids that I even contemplated buying such an item. I was in there one afternoon and saw their gorgeous little picnic table in beautiful bright colours which was like something from a children's nursery school or playground.
I felt really impressed by it; I'd always assumed that a kids patio set would be made out of cheap looking plastic. I'm quite proud of the garden and don't really want to cheapen it with something like that unless the kids really wanted it. But I was certain that a patio set like this would actually enhance my garden and I knew it would be something that my kids would adore.
I wasted no time and found plenty of attractive kids outdoor furniture online; what surprised me most was how reasonably priced some of these items were. I made the shrewd decision to involve my children in the search; they would be the ones using this kids patio set after all.
There was a lot of discussion but eventually we found something that suited us all. It wasn't exactly like the one I'd seen in the neighbour's garden, but it was similar - to be honest, I think the one I bought looks a lot better.
My kids love this patio set and have already had plenty of use from it so far. They love eating out there when the weather is warm and they also sit there to play or read. The only thing is that now the winter is here, they won't get much use out of it. I've had to put it away until the spring comes and to be honest they are not very happy about it.
