Once again this week, the linesmakers have given us a little Northeastern candy. When I looked down to see the lines this week, I felt like a young guy in a Miami club on Halloween. For those who do not frequent Miami, Halloween is the night all the young ladies go out in little more than a thong. Anyways, I digress. Who in their right mind would give New England 3 points this week.

Denver is a good team. All playoff teams are good.

New England has won 3 of the last 4 super bowls.

Tom Brady has never lost in the playoffs and went on the road to beat the favored Steelers last year.

New England's defense is healthy. You can throw out the games early this season where 7-8 of the starting 11 were out.

New England has covered the spread in their past 5 meaningful games.

The score of these games was138-34.

Of the 34 points 13 were given up before the game was out of hand.

Now if the above is not enough to convince you the Pats are the pick. I offer one more sentence.

Jake "I choke every time it matters" plummer vs. Tom "Clutch" Brady.

Go to the bank. Grab all your cash. Run to Vegas. Pound the Pats.

Good luck.
