Nissan's Juke Is A Car With Extraordinary Looks

Nissan's Juke has an unusual look; it's a crossover with a sporty edge and swooping muscular curves. If you don't want attention then the Juke is not for you, since this is a car that commands a lot of glances on the road due to its unusual exterior. The new 2011 Juke from Nissan is competitively priced at around the $22k range for the base model.

The Juke's taillights are sporty and edgy looking while the front lights are reminiscent of those found on rally cars.

The engine that powers this car is a four cylinder 1.6 Liter with a total output of 188 horsepower. It's not a race car by any means but it offers more than enough power for smooth and fast acceleration. Gas mileage stands at 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. Keep in mind that this car does require premium fuel; that's one expense that can add up throughout the years. However, the Juke offers excellent handling and precise steering.

The Juke gets its power form a V4 1.6 Liter which puts out a total output of 188 horsepower. It may not win any drag races, but it's more than enough power to give your daily commute a boost. There are three different driving modes available; Eco which conserves fuel, Sport which offers a bit more power and Normal mode. Fuel economy is at 27 miles per gallon in the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway. One possible drawback is that the Juke needs premium fuel at the gas pump. Positive factors are that it offers excellent handling and precise steering; it's also easy to navigate and park due to its petite size.

Nissan did not skimp on safety features. Comprehensive safety systems include an advanced an air bag system and head restraints to help prevent serious neck and head injuries. There is also a Traction Control system and Anti Lock Brake system in place.

If you're not afraid to stand out from the crowd then the Juke might be an option to consider. This car is funky looking, and it's a blast to drive. Best of all, the price is just right. Despite its entry-level cost, the Juke has a ton of personality, and it's a lot of fun to drive. If you're looking for a unique car with some character you might want to check out the sweet Juke.
