- Make sure that you completely clean and polish every part of the car. Do not tell the buyer that you don't like your current car, and that is why you want to sell; be positive and tell them something like you want to get a newer or bigger car. One thing to remember is that you should never lie to potential buyers as you will probably get found out.
- When you are showing the car to buyers be friendly but not too friendly. Appearing just like a salesperson is one way to annoy people and put them off.
