Green or sustainable building has been developed to reduce the environmental impact of building practices. This concerns the entire lifetime of the building, from siting to design, construction, maintenance and even demolition. OECD countries that have a trading agreement to work together for the stimulation of economic progress contribute substantially to the damage of the environment.
