Split isn’t the only city to hold a summer festival; Dubrovnik also gets in on the act from July 1st – August 31st. The largest of these events in Croatia, many international stars are set to perform at a collection of indoor and outdoor venues throughout Dubrovnik.
Why not visit the Zagreb Baroque Festival from July 1st – July 31st? Baroque music is a traditional part of Croatian culture, performed in the many churches littered throughout Zagreb. A memorable display of why Croatia offers that bit more than a traditional holiday.
The International Folklore Festival in Zagreb will be held from July 20th to July 24th 2011. This provides a unique opportunity to watch people dances from an assortment of European countries with participants in national dress. Days of Diocletian takes place in Split in August for ten days, although the exact dates are yet to be confirmed for 2011.
