The prisoners at Gitmo have decided to go on a hunger strike of course this does coincide with their Islamic holy holiday. It costs taxpayers to feed these prisoners who have decided they do not want to eat. People do make choices in life and in fact they have to live with those choices. For instance they chose to make the United States their enemy, they ended up in Gitmo. They choose not to eat they might starve? Just like those who failed to heed the mandatory evacuation are now at serious risk of disease and death. But there are others who really do need help, that did follow evacuation orders, they are not the ones looting. So here is what I propose. We take a months worth of food from Gitmo and we give it to those folks in Biloxi whose homes were flattened. This way everyone is happy you see? The Gitmo prisoners who refuse the food we give to them will get their wish for one month and those who deserve food, who have lost everything will receive the food paid for by us taxpayers. It appears that human rights lawyers are making a big issue of this hunger strike at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. They demand to have a trial. Okay well then lets give all those still alive after their hunger strike charade in one month a trial. We will put them before the Great Allah during a Hurricane. If he wishes for them to live, he will teach them to swim, if not they will drown. After all we have people in the Middle East right now claiming Allah caused the Hurricane Katrina on the United States and that their prayers were answered? So it appears to me that perhaps we ought to grant them this one more wish; you want a hunger strike, you got it. "Lance Winslow" - Online Think Tank forum board.
