CURIOUS CONTRASTS IN THE CHRISTIAN'S CREED

The Ancient of Days was born as a baby.
He left the Ivory Palaces and came to an animal's barn.
He who was born of a woman created the woman of whom He was born.
He who was born 2,160 years after Abraham, existed before
Abraham.
The Eternal One entered time so that we might enter eternity.
The King of Kings became the servant of servants.
God's perfect Man is man's Perfect God.
The Source of infinite Love was the victim of infinite hate.
The God of all Comfort was tortured more than any man.
The sinless Man of Sorrows carried the sorrows of sinful man.
The Fullness of the Godhead died so that we might find fullness
in Him.
He who had no debt to pay, paid the debt for those who were
indebted.
The righteous Giver of Life died to give life to the unrighteous.
He who would not save Himself died to save others.
The Judge of all was judged for all.
The Heir of all things died without an heir.
He who is our Advocate had no advocate. The creator of Life died
that we might have life.
The Lion of Judah went as a lamb to the slaughter.
The "Desire of all Nations" was rejected by all nations.
The Altogether Lovely One died for the altogether unlovely.
He who is The Truth was crucified by those who despised the
truth.
The Light of the world passed through darkness that we might
have light.
